for every dongyue people, october 17th and june 27th in 2009 are two dates worth remembering, because general secretary hu jintao and prime minister wen jiabao came to visit respectively and kindly communicated with staff, which is inspiring to us.
on october 17th 2009, general secretary hu jintao visited the product exhibition hall, dongyue r & d institute and the perfluorinatedionomermembraneworkshop. general secretary showed great interest in the exhibition hall, and asked president zhang for detailed information about the green refrigerants, polymermaterial and ion membrane.
at the thermoanalysis laboratory, dr. zhang yongmingintroduced the main research results to general secretary. and general secretary discussed with dr. zhang about some technical problems. when introducing the ion membrane, zhang yongming said, ‘president zhang called the chlor-alkali ‘win-credit membrane’ since it won credit for china and we are no longer restricted by foreigncountries. the fuel cell membrane concerning the futureenergy is called ‘bring-credit membrane’ because it let us rank top of the world. we will bring more credit for china’
hearing this, general said with satisfaction, ‘you should aim at the cutting-edge technology of the world, narrow the current gap and gain a place in the field.’
dr. zhang yongming replied, ‘ please be assured that we will not only get a position, but also dominate this field in the future.’
general secretary smiled and said, ‘ this will win more credit for our country.’
general secretary shook hands with the research staff one by one, and excitedly said, ‘congratulations.’
after the inspection, general secretary gave an important speech, ‘congratulations to you on the achievements in developing the ion membrane. you pioneer this field for our country, and break the monopoly of foreigntechnology. hope you continueefforts. you will not only gain a position in this field, but also rank top of the world in the field.’
june 27th at the same year, prime minister wen jiabao came to dongyue despite 37 degree celsius high temperature. after visiting the product exhibition hall and dongyue r & d institute, prime minister enthusiastically said to president zhang jianhong, ‘please ask your people to the second floor, and i have something to say.’entering the lobby of the institute, wen jianbao said, ‘ i need to take a photo with the staff of the institute.’they were so excited and closed up to primer minister, and considerate prime minister asked secretary jiang yikang and provincial governor jiang daming to come over. they kept the precioushistorical moment with the research staff and leaders of dongyue.
through the careful inspection, with keen expectation to dongyue and to the research staff, prime minister wen gave a 15-minute speech. he said, ‘ today, i am so happy and excited to see dongyue group. as a private and technology enterprise, dongyue follows the direction of new environmtal, new material and new energy, and has great developmentpotential. we should pay more attention to dongyue, cultivate and support him.’
the speeches of general secretary and prime minister were so insightful, penetrating and profound, and each word toucheddongyuepeople. theinspection and kind encouragement of general secretary and prime minister will always stimulate us to realize the honorable historical mission of winning credit for our country.
