dongyue group has four core companies, and there is one young man that once served as chief engineer of both dongyue fluoro-silicon company and dongyue organosilicon company. and that young man is yi gang. in 2006, as the chief engineer of dongyue fluoro-silicon company, yi gang was appointed as chief engineer of dongyue organosilicon company as a concurrent job. and yi gang was only 31 years old at that time.

    yi gang is the typical technician that dongyue has cultivated. in 1998, yi gang graduated from chemistry department of nanchang university, and was determined to work at dongyue. in late 1998, 5000 ton ahf project of dongyue chemical company was justified by expert appraisal, and this was the first project that yi gang participated in. the company once appointed him to purchase some pipefittings, and the sellers asked him what model number he wanted and how many he wanted. he got out a piece of paper and passed it to the seller, but the seller laughed. basically, there are fixed model types for those pipe fittings, but the model types that yi gang wrote on the paper were calculated by himself based on the blueprint. learning of this, yi gang blushed, and remembered this lesson deeply.

     on november 28, 2004, under yi gang’s command, chloromethane project was successfully put into practice, and produced qualified chloroform. for this day to come true, yi gang did not go home for three weeks. the bench in the chloromethane dcs control room was where yi gang slept, when he got exhausted. the accumulated tiredness gave yi gang cankers full of his mouth. the porridge prepared by the canteen and the sterculia lychnophora from the clinic did not cure the cankers. one day, the production process was stopped because of a tiny question, which upset yi gang very much. and he could not bear it any more, and tears were full of his eyes. initially, the chloroform rectifying system always did not work well, and in order to find the optimum reaction point, he sat in front of the operation desk and did more than one thousand experiments, and finally found the best reaction point.

     after being assigned as the technical director of organosilicon projects, he was so devoted to the work and overcame lots of difficulties with other technicians under the guidance of general manager mr. wang weidong that he achieved the minimum constructing time and testing time and the best quality of products. 2011 was the most difficult year for dongyue organosilicon company, and was also a harsh year for the young man. he successively organized 34 technical reformations. for example, the silica consumption decreased by 9.71%, steam consumption decreased by 3.06%, and electricity consumption decreased by 15.83%. he assisted general manager cai in overcoming the main technological difficulties, and they successfully solved the problems of conversion rate and production capacity which puzzled them for a long time. m2 selectivity increased by 0.92% than that of the previous year, and that of the first half of year was 5% higher than that of the second half of year, the production of monomers and dmc raised by 119.71% and 121.63% respectively. also the composite cost per ton product decreased 3.11%, and achieved national leading level. at the meantime, he hosted the concentrated acid hydrolysis project in the first phase of cracking workshop, four newly-added production lines of 5000 ton crude rubber in silicon rubber workshop, the project of 8000 ton gross rubber, and the project of 3000 ton fumed silica, which all laid a solid foundation for the organosilicon company to survive in the gloomy market.
